Just got my Bearpaw Emma Tall, size 10 (I take a 9.5/10), and it fits and feels exactly like my Uggs Classic Tall. The fur inside (real, just like Uggs) is just as thick and soft as Uggs, the sole is the same as Uggs, the outside leather/suede (real, like Uggs) is the same thickness and quality as Uggs. Just like Uggs, I'm wearing them without socks, and they are very comfortable to walk in. My Ugg Talls have lasted over 3 years so far (just replaced the furry insoles for the second time, but that's ok), and I'll see if the Bearpaws last as long. That's the only question, but because the workmanship and materials all seem to be exactly the same, I have no reason to doubt that they will last. So, you can feel very confident buying these instead of Uggs -- got mine in Maple color for $34. Other colors were more, like up to about $80, but that is still less than half the cost of Uggs. Get these!! One note, I have a pretty big calf, 16", and these fit my calf fine. If you have a larger calf than that, though, get the Emma short, and you'll be all set.
