These boots do run a little small although I think a whole size up would have been too big. I have a high instep so these are a struggle to get on but once on, they've kept my feet toasty warm with just a thin sock. Like other reviewers, I was looking for something to replace my sheepskin lined boots. The look is a little similar but the feel is completely different. Very rigid sole and no fleece. The rigid sole means better support and traction but also means you'll never mistake these boots for comfy slippers.
